Batanes Grace Ministries Inc, or BGMI, is a ministry seeking to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in Batanes, Philippines, and establish Christian churches in every community in Batanes. The pastor is Jerry Redondo.
Background: Batanes is composed of ten islands in which three are inhabited. Only 94 percent of the total population are Catholic, and the remaining 6 percent will be divided among different religions. We are super minority here and we seek to make a difference by bringing the gospel to our people and then disciple them to a life of obedience.
Our people are mostly from the capital town, which is Basco. We are discipling them and encouraging them to serve in the other municipalities.
We are now presently on two municipalities doing evangelism and discipleship and praying that in due time we will reach all municipalities as the Lord opens opportunities for us.
As we seek to do this mission, the Lord has given us young people of whom most of our manpower comes. Yhey have strength and time but they don’t have the resources to fund the ministry so that’s why our partnership with AMEN is very important. We thank you for financially supporting the ministry here, and thank you for being one of God’s instruments in supplying the needs of His ministry here .
As of now, we have a congregation meeting in Uyugan.
