Kochi, Kerala AMEN Charity is led by KM Matthew.
The charity envisions a society where vulnerable tribal and marginalised people experience dignity, hope, compassion, and opportunities for a better future . They seek to serve tribal communities, underprivileged families, the elderly, children, and those facing hardship across both rural and urban regions of Kerala, India. They aspire to be a channel of love and practical care by reaching communities in remote mountainous areas, villages, towns, and underserved urban neighbourhoods, bringing help and hope regardless of caste, religion, ethnicity, or social background.
Mission:
1. Feed the Hungry and Relieve Poverty
Provide meals, food supplies, clothing, and essential provisions to individuals and families facing poverty, hunger, and crisis situations.
2. Serve Tribal and Marginalised Communities
Support tribal populations and marginalised communities in the mountainous regions of Kerala and neighbouring state borders through humanitarian assistance, community development, and sustainable support initiatives.
3. Care for the Elderly and Vulnerable
Extend compassionate care to the aged, widows, disabled persons, and those living in isolation by providing practical assistance, companionship, and support for their physical and emotional well-being.
4. Promote Health and Medical Care
Facilitate medical camps, health awareness programs, medicines, emergency assistance, guidance and access to healthcare resources for those who lack adequate medical support.
5. Encourage Education and Empowerment
Provide educational assistance, scholarships, school supplies, and learning opportunities for children and students from underprivileged backgrounds, while also offering soft-skill training, vocational development, and life-enrichment programs.
6. Respond to Community Needs
Serve both rural and urban communities by responding to emerging needs, disaster situations, social challenges, and humanitarian crises with compassion, integrity, and accountability.
